BTS was founded in 1985, Bala Panchapagesan, an expert on the AS 400. He had acquired over 25 years of experience on that platform when he worked for IBM™ at their Milan and UK facilities Software Development and Systems Engineering.

In collaboration with Broadgate Infonet of UK (formerly Broadgate Technical Services), also co founded by Bala, BTS has been delivering solutions to some major blue chip organizations in the UK.
